OUR MISSION

We empower kids to cook so they can make healthy, confident food choices—for themselves and for the planet.

I didn’t learn to cook as a kid—school didn’t teach it. But growing up surrounded by my a mom, aunt, and three grandmas cooking at home, I knew how beautiful and powerful food can be.

After getting married in 2009, I needed to learn to cook quickly! My grandma gave me some cooking magazines, and I tried cooking a recipe for the first time. I was amazed how simple it was! I felt empowered by the step-by-step process and was surprised that the food actually tasted good.

I was instantly hooked.

By 2016, I closed my music teaching studio, worked as a line cook, and explored culinary jobs in about every field you can imagine. During my first class working at a cooking school, I had found the intersection of my two passions: cooking and teaching it to others. I opened a new business in 2018 and started teaching kids cooking in schools.

By 2025, I launched Kids Cooking Club, bringing together my years of experience and my deep love for teaching. Now I’m sharing my love of food with more kids than I ever dreamed!
